In a tight game it was the Columbus Crowd 7, the Jefferson Park Penguins 5 at
the ballpark.

Frank Catalanotto made sure the Columbus fans enjoyed themselves. He tripled
in the 1st inning, smashed a two-run homer (his 7th of the season) in the 3rd
inning and doubled scoring a run in the 8th inning. Jefferson Park had a
chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

The victory was credited to Chad Billingsley(8-4) who went 8 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 5 runs. Jonathan Broxton recorded his 17th save. J.C. Romero(3-2)
took the loss in relief.

Steve Seydell was in a contemplative mood after the tough loss, 'It is really
hard to lose this kind of a game. It may seem weird to some, but it is
easier to take the occasional blow-out loss. It is the ones that just barely
get away that hurt so much - like this one!'
